What is Mediation? Confidential mediation services are available to individuals, public and private entities. Mediation is an effective and cost efficient process in which the parties are guided through their conflict in search of a mutually acceptable resolution. The role of the mediator is to facilitate communication, negotiation, reconciliation, settlement, or understanding between the parties. Candidates for mediation must voluntarily agree to engage in this informal process, and always maintain the decision-making powers. Cost: Hourly rate with a minimum of two hours.
